This book brings the history of the hat, whose function to shield you from the elements has obviously never found a need for improvement amongst the cowboys that love them.

The photographs from David are as usual inspirational, and capture the essence of that most vital part of cowboy gear that is " The last thing you take off and the first thing people notice." From sombreros to black nutria fur stetsons and with photos of some of the best loved cowboys such as Bob Avila and Curt Pate and plenty of cowgirls too. Who knew there was so much history in his piece of equipment? Keeps you dry, keeps the dust out of your hair, the sweat from your eyes and adds that individual flair to every owner.
