A well written story that tells how women on both sides of the Atlantic pioneered the way into equestrian sport for the rest of us to enjoy. Interesting accounts of the first woman who made their first Badminton event a reality, those that overcame physical hardship to participate in the male dominated sport of riding, jockey Julie Krone to name but a few. While women were thought 'too delicate' to compete alongside men, some true heroines emerged in equestrian sport that proved otherwise. A fun read that is well put together and inspires all women to 'go for it.'
