In this book Harry Chaim Faibish - who has trained with folks like Nuno Oliveira, Egon non Neindorff, and Hans Reigler to name but a few - brings case histories of his own experiences with every sort of issue. Utilizing the principles of classical horsemanship he seeks no short cuts in handling the horse - from starting a youngster with a conformational flaw to addressing hind leg damage and the road back to making the horse supple and straight. Some of the problems covered are mental issues and some physical - and as we also know from experience - very often both. In each case Harry walks you through how he solved the issue. Much of his interest in working with rehabilitation and his tact and understanding he says stems from an early accident in his life where he was left after his truck hit a land mine - with a crooked spine and hip damage. He spent two years incapacitated before finding the right medical treatment in Britain and resolving his own struggle to walk and ride again.

His work around the world is well respected - and whether you have an older horse that you wish to teach collection or a sensitive horse which has post racetrack issues and everything in between - the advice given here is extremely useful. The book will be helpful to any horse owner/rider in any discipline not just dressage. You can hear the ethics and training standards of Oliveira and Neindorff and Riegler in his words - and it is a good read cover to cover. The entire Horse Studio Team reviewed it and everyone found something to take home and work on.

I would like to see more work from this author - thanks to UK Publisher J Allen for publishing his work. Recommended. A matter of fact and useful resource with practical application and good ethics. We have also discounted price off the cover price.
