Set in Queensland, Australia, a region some of us have been fortunate enough to visit, this is a coming of age story that any young woman will appreciate and understand.

Between undying love for her horses, the doping and racetrack backdrop and the ever evolving love story, the heroic actions of both horse and girl, the hardships of drought and farming life, the angst of a young girl as she traverses adolescence and the obstacles of major injury to her father and possible loss of the farm, this is a tale clearly made for the movies, which is where this reviewer hope it ends up! On the big screen! A compelling story line, excellent workmanship by the author that sends you galloping eagerly to the last page and a sense of true accomplishment that you share with the heroine in the last pages make this title an awesome buy and read.

Although Eva Mary Keay has written other books of a non fiction more veterinary nature, this is the first of her books that TheHorseStudio.com has represented. We hope that you will share our support of her work and of her noble cause, that of the welfare of the horse and animals in general. Australia, as we know, has recently once again suffered drought and serious issues for the well being of all livestock.
