Not Quite A Horsewoman; A witty, humorous look at the world of horses. Great writing, very entertaining.

Caroline Akrill brings you an extremely funny catalog of disasters and catastrophes and triumphs of her experiences with various disciplines of riding, from foxhunting to hunters to running a stable yard and her various problems with that, to breeding and showing ponies and donkeys - everyone who has ever set foot in the stirrup will be in stitches laughing as they turn the pages. A great read, with British humor throughout. Very enjoyable.

thehorsestudio.com review: I read the book in one swallow - it is a page turning delight that has you laughing out loud. Caroline has the gift of being a fluent and engaging writer, and her stories are frank and delightfully funny. Between working as a horse dealer from behind the bar of a pub, to running circles trying to run a riding school and all her family moments in between - she brings home exactly the reasons why we all love horses and why despite all ups and downs, we continue to be passionate about them. A good insight into life with horses in one of the most horse nuts nations in the world too. A great read and suitable for all ages. Highly recommend.
