TheHorseStudio.com Copyrighted Review:-Instruction from a legend for sure, this DVD covers all the basics of the American Forward Riding System and the demo riders Cynthia Hankins and Darragh Kenny are naturally wonderful shining examples of the George system. An added bonus piece of the Roots of Forward Riding puts the evolution in perspective. As a jumper trained in Europe there is a lot similar to the way I was taught which surprised me. Obviously the position is different and when I had my first Grand Prix show-jumper in this country, this was a big learning curve I had to overcome.
This DVD would certainly have laid some good groundwork and understanding of how my horse was taught and what he expected from the rider. The advice here is precise and succinct. George as always, a formidable talent and horse and rider trainer. A great introduction for the ami rider who wants to go about learning the system in a professional way from a true legend. Please note: This is a copyrighted review and may only be published elsewhere with credit clearly denoted as "TheHorseStudio.com, The International Equestrian Shop" and with a link to The Horse Studio website URL if published online.
