The story of a young girl that convinces her uncle to buy a special yearling

Eleven year old Danny Bara has lived at the track with her uncle Eddie while he trains racehorses. She knows all the scams, odd makers and knows that her uncle needs to find that special horse that will put him on the map as a trainer. When she gets a hunch about a yearling called Tom Thumb, she manages to convince her uncle to purchase him. The movie takes you around the race circuit as they train the youngster to meet the demands of the track and soon enough they are in the money.

Actors are Leelee Sobieski ( from the Wicker Man) and Robert Urich ( from Lonesome Dove).
