This is a super set that has in depth info and advice from how to select a young horse for your future dressage star material and also exactly how to work and train a young horse. Anky and her hubbie and trainer Sjef Jannssen take a sit down chat with you first off, then move onto the riding part. Anky on a five year old mare to begin. Then help from Anky with her pupil in the irons of another horse and then Anky rides the same horse herself. The exercises that are used are naturally familiar but the approach is slightly different and the communication is very clear to the viewer. We then move on to a brief interview with Anky reviewing her moments with Bonfire, the ups and downs. Told with wit and honesty and makes a good account. Then Sjef again hold coach position while Anky rides her super 'young' horse of the day - who that rising star is we'll leave to the imagination.

There were 4 cameras used in Addington to film this DVD (Anky, Her Winning Formula) and the results are very good. Clear demonstration for the viewer to fully understand and to inspire everyone to get up there and get on with it. Richard Davison hosted the evening here, and this review of the Masters Tour was extremely well received by the audience. Duration 100 minutes.

The second DVD, Dancing With Bonfire is a frank and often fun look at one of the worlds all time dressage stars. from his early life of frequent bucking, weaknesses and strengths as he progressed, and the obstacles of which there were a few - the story is truly engaging. Anky brings you a real life lesson in not quitting on your horse just because of a few challenges and shows you how their relationship blossomed and how she adjusted her own practices to work with the horse as an individual. Resourceful and witty, a great account. Very enjoyable to watch. A lot to learn here about Kur riding too. Duration 70 minutes.
