This is the first in a series of three DVDs from TV star and renowned clinician Carole Fletcher and her paint horse partner Heza Night Train, this instructional event details several tricks you can easily teach your horse and amuse yourself and your audience in the process. The benefits for the horse of learning these simple tricks is that he will develop more trust and bond more effectively with you, and will become brighter and more interested in what is going on in his environment and hopefully learn also to learn.

Carole shows you the foundation for teaching tricks to your horse using the three 'P's of patience, perseverance and praise. SImple tricks are demonstrated including Acting Ashamed, Put Your Head on my Shoulder, Kissing, Answering Yes and No, Smiling, Push or Drunkard Shove. Next Carole shows you how to train your horse to take a hanky from your pocket and wave hello, take your hat from your head and retrieve your hat from the ground and return it to you. Just in case that's not enough she'll show you how to teach him to ring the bell for dinner and count out how many carrots he'd like in his hay, stretch after his evening meal and shake hands in a thank you gesture.

TheHorseStudio.com review: If you want to master some simple tricks and bring out the 'star' in your horse then Carole and Heza walk you through all the basics in this DVD. Surprisingly these tricks are pretty easy for the horse to learn and you sure see the horse becoming more attentive and learning how to learn. Horses seem to become more attuned as the process continues, probably because the communication and human bond is enhanced as the horse has to tune in to you. Remarkable stuff that respects the horse and gives you a great way to engage as a non rider and with any breed, as well as an educated equestrian.
