TheHorseStudio.com review: Always a delight this year's European Eventing Championships did not despite. While Badminton winner Flint Curtis was certainly not on his game, the team competition was a close call between the Germans and the seven time winners of this competition, the Brits. The Germans had already secured World and Olympic championship wins so were heavy favorites, but the Brits and Italians were not to be denied, and it was an edge of your seat finish. Some really helpful commentary and insights from Lucinda Green bring the event home, and the backdrop of Fontainebleau provides some beautiful scenery. I've visited Fontainebleau many times and it is always a beautiful well run venue for equestrian competition. I thought Kristina Cook of Britain gave an awesome display of good horsemanship and talent. This DVD includes highlights of the cross country which are sandwiched between highlights of the dressage and showjumping finale.
