TheHorseStudio.com review: This is the second in vet Dr. Hammill's series on teaching your horse or horses to work in harness and to work around the farm. Actually helping out! In this DVD he shares how to fit the collar correctly and make harness adjustments for individual horses, how to adjust team lines for maximum effectiveness, safety and comfort of the horse. He also shows you how to safely hitch. Then you move on to skidding logs, mowing and training your horse to work on various tasks around the ranch. Dr. Hammill is again joined by Tom Triplett who also has a deep sense of the best way to work and train horses and a horse master in his own right. The pair make for a great team themselves. The viewer will enjoy the quiet way that the horses are trained and the dry wit that goes along with each task. Good advice for training your horse to work happily and with confidence.

TheHorseStudio.com review: Typical of Doc Hammill, this 3rd DVD of the series is comprehensive. You find yourself carried along as if you are standing right there ( or sitting alongside ) at his beautiful Montana ranch watching first hand. There is a calm and ease about both Tom Triplett ( who has his own very special way with horses) and Doc Hammill that is calming to you as the viewer as well as the horses. The techniques are kind and once you've tried them on your own horse you will certainly find they work.
