In his superb style Dr. Klimke here brings you to the important beginnings of work with the horse. With his wonderful read of the horse and timely remarks and advice, Klimke here works in Vol 1 with the basics of working the horse in harmony straight, with purpose and dignity and with a clear knowledge for the horse of the what his job is as well as how to be sure that the horse enjoys it. (in the US Tr/1st/2nd lvl)In Vol 2 Klimke covers work after about a year at Vol 1 above training, into the double bridle and proper acceptance and kindness with the curb bit. The master Dr. Reiner Klimkre here presents VOl 3 and 4 in the series Complete Dressage Training. Using the European category - in Vol 3 the lessons are to consolidate the horse in his basic gaits, half halts and counter canter work ( Category L)in preparation for collection. Vol 4 covers the five or six year old horse at it progresses now ( we hope) towards the M Category and covers flying changes and the further enhancement of the horses' balance through more succint transitions, half halts and figures. As ever Dr. Klimke brings his wonderful sense of humor, his kindness and his knowledge in an easy to understand and concise format.

Dr. Reiner Klimkre here presents VOl 5 and 6 in the series Complete Dressage Training. Using the European category - in Vol 5 the lessons of collection are broadened. The flying changes from simple to complete are ingrained, the lateral work required to a higher degree of bend and the third and most forth level US work is now complete. ( Category M) Vol 6 covers the campaign to the FEI level - the work through flies changes in preparation for Prix St George, one of the best tests ever written. The canter work is exacting and collection and rebalancing well confirmed, the half pirouettes are taught and engaged with bounce and flow and the trot work has an earnest collection and extension. Errors and small corrections are invisibly given and hopefully taken at this level and the workmanship now reveals the art of the training scale. As ever Dr. Klimke brings his wonderful sense of humor, his kindness and his knowledge in an easy to understand and concise format.

Dr. Reiner Klimkre here presents VOl 7 and 8 in the series Complete Dressage Training. In Vol 7 the work now is to improve further the collection at the canter including the introduction of the full pirouette and the changes must now be graduated to two time tempi changes. This work needs to be completed while maintaining the qualities already established in the walk and trot gait. This work will bring the horse to Intermediare I. Vol 8 To the last step in preparation before the Grand Prix horse - addressed here the tempi changes and the work to half steps in piaffe. As the horse has now progressed you are able to see whether or not your work has resulted in a Grand Prix partner - which may or may not have been clear to you before.

The master Dr. Reiner Klimke here presents VOl 9 and 10 in the series Complete Dressage Training. In Vol 9 The Training of the Grand Prix Horse, is the final step of a dressage horse. Piaffe and passage including the steps between should show the highest level grade of the classical school. Aids should be invisible and the work evidently full of harmony between rider and horse. Klimke here brings you deftly to Vol 10 The Study of the Grand Prix horse being prepared for the Grand Prix. The details are complete, perfection is exacted and Klimke helps the rider with tips and suggestions to make the final entry to the Grand Prix ring successful As ever Dr. Klimke brings his wonderful sense of humor.
