The superb workmanship of Kyra once more here, this DVD explains how to harness the natural reactions of the horse in a positive way. Kyra discusses horsemanship throughout the centuries before beginning on the process of determining when and how much to reward and when and how much to correct to ensure the best result for both you and your horse. Dressage as art, dressage horse as willing partner who expresses his individuality with heart results from her unique clear cut approach to starting work with your horse. Practical as ever Kyra doesn't just discuss the ideal result, but addresses what to do specifically if communication between horse and rider breaks down. Riding with correct 'feel' and putting that feel into technique certainly works. I have started many young horses successfully following her advice, and they come along quickly as a result of her fine tuning.

Kyra is a very highly regarded international rider who once more returns to the Big Tour with a super horse - her training methods work and are well proven. Her background in eventing and showjumping in her homeland of Finland, before her focus on dressage and her 7 year stint as chief trainer at the Swedish Flyinge Stud. She has produced 14 international Grand Prix horses and has trained many riders to Olympic level dressage, showjumping and eventing. One of my all time favorite trainers and riders, Kyra is currently based in England.

Highly Recommended. Her help here is straightforward and easy to follow and is a super help. Running time approx thirty mins.
