A Leap Of Faith Regional showjumping championship heralds the finale for an unlikely union of a juvenile delinquent and a blind girl, as horses bring them together.

Jeremy London stars as Rick Chilton, a lost cause whose probation officer sends off to a ranch to serve out his sentence. The ranch, which functions as a rehab center for blind youths, is the new home of Lindsay - a world class gymnast recently blinded in a fall from the balance beam.

She arrives bitter and disillusioned, but Rick introduces her to a beautiful stallion ( Ghost), and her morale is miraculously lifted and her competitive spirit kicks in again. Great movie for the young teenager ( though is unrated and can be enjoyed by the whole family), with all the components; a dash of young love, a blend of unlikely heroes and a life lesson for both boy and girl in overcoming hardship.
