Magical Adventure with state of the art effects and starring George Hamilton as the bad magician who seeks to capture the magic of the little horse.A wish of a little girl , Polly, to save her dying mare is addressed to the King of Horses, The Unicorn. Although sadly the mare is lost, left behind is a magical foal, a white unicorn.

The orphan girl seeks to protect the unicorn and his magical powers from the many visitors especially those wishing to capture the horse for his magic. When she is sent away to school, no-one is there to protect him - and the animal becomes the focus of the wicked Tiny ( Joe Penny) who also wants to teach it circus tricks and exploit it.

Together with her friend Toby, Polly has to rescue the unicorn from the circus and free it to work the magic it has come into the world to rekindle.
