The spur stop is covered and the correct training of the stop with its pros and cons are discussed in detail. Your leg control being paramount to training the horse to lift his body away from the spur application must be timed carefully and Dana aptly demonstrates her training methods to ensure the horse remains calm and obedient. Finally Dana covers how to slow your horse down off the spur without destroying the movement. A tricky business that Dana makes look simple - maybe not easy - but simple. The horses showcased here are as ever beautifully turned out, happy and well trained. Dana is very good at explaining work in a clear and matter of fact fashion. Littered with lots of tips and expertise from her wealth of experience both as horse trainer and rider trainer. This DVD provides a good look at the subtle methods the pros use.
