This unique concept is a truly super useful training tool for the event rider. To begin you walk through a series of exercises with Doug Payne and Jim Wofford, in the arena then out cross country. Then you are off to competition with horses of different skills levels. While Jim analyzes each exercise as you do as a spectator from the ground, you are then suddenly aboard the horse with Doug Payne via a helmet camera. Whoa..hold on to your horses! You have the ride of your life with this virtual experience as Doug narrates all the competition footage post event, then gives you the opportunity to be aboard as the event is then shot from the Doug's actual experience on course. Talk about thrilling. In addition to this the duo show you exercises done badly, with then another demo of the correct execution. The use of this technology is wonderful and a great educational resource for the rider. You are in the saddle learning from the years of experience of these two world class competitors/judges in a matter of 74 minutes. I've never experienced anything quite like it. Definitely a confidence booster and I found out a number of areas where I could improve and was able to put it to work right away. Awesome DVD. Thanks guys!
