Vol 1. This covers communication on the ground. It includes work in a round pen and also work with the horse on a rope. David demonstrates how the horse responds to pressure and teaches the horse the result he wants by the application and release of pressure.

Vol 2. This covers flatwork. This covers riders position and use of aids and how the pressure release and application is continued in the work under saddle.

Vol 3. David and Karen now demonstrate using four students and their mounts, how to begin and develop a routine for simple jumping exercises. This is then logically built upon to go through combination fences. David and Karen also demonstrate from the saddle the progression through the program. All of these lessons shared are then taken out on the cross country course and David and Karen share how to apply their principles on track as well as how to be successful and have great pleasure in the sport of eventing.
