The extra neck protection offered by a hood is often overlooked. Not only does it protect from the weather but also can save some wear and tear on the mane. Useful if you are headed off to the show ring the next day. The fit is very good and attachment is easy with elasticated straps. Durable and washable with a double velcro front fastening.

We have tested a bunch of lightweight turnout protection sheets and hoods and after some serious discussion and testing we are now pleased to offer this hood which matched the sheets also listed.

It is made from 100% polyester and has 1680 dernier polyester with PU coating. Happily the attachments not only well crafted but well positioned. Which can often be a problem with cheaper products.

We've searched long and hard before offering hoods and sheets/blankets to our customer and this one gives good value and durability and comfort to your horse.
