Allen Pogue is truly one of the most innovative horse trainers of our time. He spent more than 20 years living in close proximity with a growing herd of horses while developing a methodology that brings Trick Horse training into the 21st century. The method blends modern and classical horsemanship with circus style flair and are fun for the both horse and human. He co-founded Imagine a Horse in 2001 with partner Sue De Laurentis in response to the many requests they received to share the Imagine A Horse training with fellow horse enthusiasts. Since that time the message has rapidly spread around the globe. Sue and Allen own and operate Red Horse Ranch, a horse boarding and training facility in Dripping Springs, Texas.
Imagine A Horse utilizes Enlightened Trick Horse Training as a basis for enhancing the intelligence and willingness of a companion horse. Horse owners can realize the unlimited potential of their own horses with creative activities that engage the horse’s interest while enhancing reliability, safety and two-way communication skills. Imagine a Horse training methods are engaging, compelling and just plain fun!
Imagine A Horse offers a dozen instructional DVDs that begin with Enhanced Foal Training and will take the horse lover through the higher education of a finished exhibition horse. Enhanced Foal Training can begin shortly after birth and is calculated to develop a well-educated, trustworthy young horse long before he is physically mature enough to be started under saddle. Enlightened Trick Training can be used with horses of all ages and breeds from adolescence through the adult.
The training of five young horses from birth to adolescents that are now star performers is documented through training DVD series. This is a first of its kind event in the history of horse training. The content is presented in a clear, action oriented format that is easy to follow.
You don’t have to run away to join the circus, with a willing horse or two you can have one in your own backyard !
