Using the European category - in Vol 3 the lessons are to consolidate the horse in his basic gaits, half halts and counter canter work ( Category L)in preparation for collection. Vol 4 covers the five or six year old horse at it progresses now ( we hope) towards the M Category and covers flying changes and the further enhancement of the horses' balance through more succinct transitions, half halts and figures.
