Rich red and gold colors emphasize the bounce of the piaffe and the biomechanics of the horse are highlighted in the lighter tones.
TheHorseStudio.com review: Super colors here produce a rich and vibrant work that beautifully detail the movement of haute ecole 'piaffer.' Dressage lovers will delight in owning this inexpensive print.
This is a 5" x 7" print hand finished with a medium varnish to add depth and the texture of brush strokes.
It includes the off white beveled matt which is 8" x 10" and will fit any pre-made frames.
This is from my original acrylic painting called Little Piaffe.
The print is signed and shipped in a clear protective sleeve in a cardboard mailer.
Here is a short bio from Linda:
I have wanted to be a horse trainer and artist since I was a little girl.
I studied fine art at CCSF and graphic design at Platt College in San Francisco and became a
furniture designer for a family furniture business.
My furniture designs have been featured on HGTV and Extreme Makeover Home Edition and my
showroom has been shopped by Sherwin Williams to determine current color forecasts.
I enjoy my two beautiful children and husband and find time to ride 4-5 days a week.
I have a showroom in San Francisco where I am able to display some of my painting and am
represented by galleries both in Orinda and Berkeley, CA.
In my showroom I hold 3-4 art shows a year that I tie into charities like The ALS Golden West Association,
COTS (committee on the shelterless) and this year the SPCA.
I love painting and to experiment with color and texture. It is a true joy in life that I hope comes through in my art.
