With John Whitaker in the irons, and owners Mr. and Mrs. Bradley, who generously gave him the ride after the loss of their daughter Caroline - this wonderful horse's life story is captured here in all it's glory. The life story of Milton. A real inspiration with narration from Peter Churchill, John Whitaker, other show jumping icons that were closely connected with this white wonder - lots of super footage and cinematography. This DVD runs 58 mins. Also included in the second DVD, is some fun footage of horsemanship - with Geoff Billington and John Whitaker, who take everything to their own esteemed level by riding without bridle or saddle. As a kid I was at The Horse Of The Year Show and witnessed some of this UK rider revelry - tho think that was Harvey Smith dismantling David Broome's horse's bridle during a closing ceremony with about three hundred horses in the ring - hum...a British thing perhaps. Tho the bridleless riding is not something to copy at home folks - the DVD here brings all the best of British humor and a very entertaining ;horsing around' event that took place in Helsingborg Faltrittklubb in Sweden. A host of Milton worshipers were thrilled with the show and the DVD has you laughing out loud. This DVD runs 85 mins.
