TheHorseStudio.com review: These mittens did take some getting used to wearing and frankly I am not sure I'd wear them for a really hot or spooky horse. Having said that they are perfect for warming up your more trained and predictable beast. Certainly your hands are much warmer than other gloves just because you do have three fingers together. I liked them a lot for training, where I am standing about in the ring but still like to come to the rider and demonstrate the rein contact or pop on and tune up a horse for the rider. We sure get a blast of winter where I ride and the extra warmth really works wonders for those long days with multiple schooling sessions to complete.
