Blue Fire Lady.
Some lovely scenery and cinematography surround this story of a young woman's mission to save a troubled horse. A poignant tale that details how Jenny Gray overcomes the sadness of her losing her mother in a horse riding accident, and despite the protestations of her father finds a job in a race horse yard.
When the horse Blue Fire Lady arrives it is love at first sight and though the horse will not allow others to handle it, a special bond and trust develops between Jenny and the mare. Through many obstacles, unscrupulous trainers and mercenary jockeys - Jenny pushes on to ensure that the horse is saved and realizes her own destiny.
Along the lines of National Velvet and Black Beauty - a neat movie with a good story line - this is a good family movie and is unrated. Duration is approximately 90 minutes.
